SANCTUARY CITIES
We are a nation of immigrants. We are also a nation of laws.
Rewarding people who have jumped the line and entered our country illegally and unvetted cannot be tolerated.
NH cannot allow Sanctuary cities to override our immigration laws. It invites people who are ill-intentioned.
Fentanyl trafficking is taking a toll on NH families. Manchester and surrounding areas, have been disproportionately impacted. We need to put NH families first while making sure that people who are waiting to enter our country legally are also respected. The current system is of open borders without consequence is unjust.
MENTAL HEALTH
NH is facing a mental health crisis.
I work with people who are or have been homeless, who are in recovery, and/or have been incarcerated. I can tell you first hand that mental health resources in our state are scarce.
As a community leader and advocate for children and families, I have people reaching out to me desperate for help for their loved ones. There are many children who are in need of mental health treatment. We have seen the numbers rise in the aftermath of COVID. We must take this crisis head on.
Too many resources are funneled into trying to arrest our way out of addiction and mental illness. We have to redirect those resources to support those that need care.
EDUCATION FREEDOM
According to the NH Journal, 75% of NH voters support education freedom.
Every child, every family should have a choice and a voice in their children’s education. Yet, NH democrats, including my opponent, have vowed to defund the existing programs that benefit children.
I have been an advocate for children and families in this conversation for nearly a decade. While serving in the legislature I worked tirelessly for education freedom and to support parental voice. My voting record proves it. I will continue to expand on that work as your State Senator.
We must stand up for education freedom, parental voice, and girls’ opportunity in all of our schools.
