ISSUES

I will never vote for a state income tax
Mine is a blue collar family family. I understand how economically challenging it is to raise a family today. I will always work to keep spending in check and your tax burden low.
While serving in the NH Legislature, I stood up against my own party when the leadership presented a budget that would have placed an unnecessary burden on the NH taxpayers.I worked with party leadership to present a compromise that was fair and respected the hard working people of New Hampshire.

MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION
NH is facing a mental health crisis.
I work with people who are or have been homeless, who are in recovery, and/or have been incarcerated. I can tell you first hand that mental health resources in our state are scarce.
As a community leader and advocate for children and families, I have people reaching out to me desperate for help for their loved ones. There are many children who are in need of mental health treatment. We have seen the numbers rise in the aftermath of COVID. We must take this crisis head on.
Too many resources are funneled into trying to arrest our way out of addiction and mental illness. We have to redirect those resources to support those that need care.

EDUCATION FREEDOM
According to the NH Journal, 75% of NH voters support education freedom.
Every child, every family should have a choice and a voice in their children’s education. Yet, NH democrats, including my opponent, have vowed to defund the existing programs that benefit children.
I have been an advocate for children and families in this conversation for nearly a decade. While serving in the legislature I worked tirelessly for education freedom and to support parental voice. My voting record proves it. I will continue to expand on that work as your State Senator.
We must stand up for education freedom, parental voice, and girls’ opportunity in all of our schools.
CANNABIS
I have historically supported medical marijuana. But when it comes to recreational use I have yet to see a bill put before the NH legislature that aligns with small government principles.
A bill should be simple. Anyone can grow cannabis on their own property. They can smoke or make cannabis products for their own personal use.
Driving or public behavior should have the same consequences as being under the influence of any substance.

SANCTUARY CITIES
We are a state that welcomes legal immigrants and refugees. We can never allow for unlawful, so-called sanctuary cities.
DONATE to my campaign and help me to protect our NH Advantage.
